Ministry Christianity is not for spectators. Christianity is compassion in action. You too can help! Our members are volunteers, not paid employees.
Our members currently help those in need in our communities in many ways, including: Members manage and volunteer in our thrift stores. Vincentians run food pantries take food to those in need, parishioners and non-parishioners. We provide emergency financial assistance to help with concerns such as rent, electric & gas bills, etc. Some of us do jail ministry. We visit the sick and elderly. We operate and distribute food from pantries.
We also need donations to assist clients with emergency needs. *** ***
The Essential Elements of the Society
Element I: Spirituality - To bear witness to Christ and to His Church by showing that the faith of Christians inspires them to work for the good of humanity.
Element II: Faith Community - To bring together men and women of good will and to assist them by mutual example and true friendship in drawing nearer to the Divine Model (Jesus the Christ) by fulfilling His essential precept; namely, the love of God in the person of others.
Element III: Service - To establish a personal contact between its members and those who suffer and to bring to the latter the most efficacious and charitable aid possible.
